Have tried 5+ brands available in HK (some imported, some local). Waggle outperforms all of them in every category: absorption speed, clump hardness, odor neutralization, and tracking. My two long-haired chihuahuas adapted immediately. The sand doesn't stick to their fur which was a problem with other brands. It handles HK's humidity well — no mold, no weird smell even when the tray sits for a few days. The price is competitive too at around a fair price for a bag that lasts my two small dogs about 3 weeks. Only minor complaint: I wish it was more widely available in stores, not just online. But the subscription delivery is reliable so it's fine.

Used pee pads for two years with my yorkie and honestly looking back I don't know why I put up with it. The smell, the leaking, the constant replacing. Waggle sand costs more upfront but you use way less over time because you're scooping not trashing the whole thing. It took my dog about a day to figure out the new setup. Now she walks over to her box like a cat, does her business, and trots off. My house finally smells normal.

My dog had knee surgery and couldn't do stairs for 8 weeks. an indoor potty solution and I found Waggle. Absolute lifesaver during recovery. She took to it immediately despite being groggy and in a cone. My 14-year-old shih tzu has arthritis and can't do stairs anymore. Taking him outside multiple times a day was hurting him and stressing me out. got this for my 4 month old cavapoo and its been pretty great. she learned to use it in like a day which was amazing. cleanup is way easier than pads. the only thing is when i pour it theres some dust that makes me sneeze lol. also the bag is kinda heavy and awkward to pour from. but the actual sand works really well so im gonna keep using it.

been using waggle for my shih tzu for about a month. the sand is great at absorbing pee and keeping smells down. scooping is easy. my one issue is that sometimes when she pees right at the edge of the tray the liquid runs down the side instead of getting absorbed by the sand. not the sand's fault really but maybe a deeper tray recommendation would help. overall solid product, gonna keep using it.

overall im happy with waggle for my two mini dachshunds. the absorbency is solid — i used newspaper pellets before and this is way better at trapping smell. my only nitpick is that sometimes the clumps break apart when im scooping, so i end up leaving lil bits behind. not a dealbreaker tho, i just scoop more carefully now. delivery was fast and the packaging is nice — resealable bag which is a small touch but i appreciate it.

works as advertised i guess. my havanese uses it. smell is minimal. scooping is easy enough. i dunno what else to say, it's sand for dogs and it works. took off one star cause the bag doesn't reseal and i had to buy a separate container to store it. kinda annoying for the price but whatever.

it does what it needs to do. absorbs pee, contains odor, easy to scoop. my chihuahua mix figured it out within a day. the bag is resealable which is nice. it's a little dusty when pouring and the clumps sometimes crumble if i scoop too aggressively. but overall it's way better than pee pads and i don't have to worry about my dog going on the carpet anymore. will repurchase probably.

It's fine. My yorkiepoo uses it, it contains most of the smell, it's easy to scoop. I've been buying it for a few months now. My main gripe is the price creeps up every few months and the bag seems to have gotten slightly smaller — or maybe i'm imagining that. Either way it's a functional product that does what it claims. Not gonna write a sonnet about dog sand. Would buy again but keeping an eye out for alternatives.

I have two miniature dachshunds and bought this for when we're stuck indoors during bad weather. They took to it right away which surprised me. Odor control is solid, I'll give it that. My issue is the tracking — these little guys kick after they go and the sand gets EVERYWHERE. I put a mat under the tray now and that helps some. Would give 5 stars if it tracked less. Still better than pee pads tho.

works great for my two chihuahuas in our tiny NYC apartment. zero smell complaints from my roomate which is a first. BUT i feel like at this price it should last longer?? a bag is supposed to be 3-4 weeks but with two dogs i get maybe 12 days before i need a full change. scooping daily helps but the sand just gets saturated eventually. would love a bulk buy discount or subscription option. product itself is 5-star quality just the value proposition is more like 3.5.

Functionally it works great — smell is controlled, easy to scoop, my yorkie uses it reliably. But fair warning: if you have dark floors you WILL see sand particles around the tray area. I bought a little handheld vacuum just for this. It's not terrible, like it's not coating my whole apartment, but it's not zero tracking either. If you can handle a little sweeping this is a great solution for small dogs.

Third month using Waggle for my shih tzu. It's... fine. The sand clumps pee well. Poop is easy to scoop. Smell is minimal. But I bought the "non-stick" claim and honestly some still sticks to the bottom of the plastic tray, especially if my dog goes in the same corner every time (which she does). I have to scrape a little during deep cleans. Not a huge deal, just expected more on that front. Still better than newspaper or pads. 4 stars.

BUT if your dog is a digger like my mini dachshund proceed with caution. she treats the tray like a beach and kicks sand everywhere. it's kinda hilarious but also i'm sweeping 3 times a day. i tried a covered tray and that helped a bit. the sand quality is excellent so i'm sticking with it, just had to modify my setup. maybe they should make a tray with higher walls to bundle with the sand. anyway would still recommend as long as your dog isnt part excavator.

Product is great. My 5lb yorkiepoo uses it consistently, no smell in my studio apartment, clean up is quick. The problem is the packaging — the bag is tall and narrow so it tips over easily in my cabinet, and as others have said the reseal strip is trash. Had to transfer mine to a plastic bin. For what this costs they really should fix the bag. The sand itself though? No notes. It just works.

We travel full time in an RV with our toy poodle and space is TIGHT. Before Waggle we were stopping every few hours for potty breaks which was exhausting. Now we just keep a small tray in the corner and she does her business whenever she needs to. The odor control is the real MVP here — in a tiny enclosed space like an RV any smell gets amplified and we smell NOTHING with this sand. It also doesn't spill much when we're driving which is a bonus. Genuinely made RV life with a dog so much easier. Highly recommend for any traveling dog owners.

ok so i live in a 6th floor walkup and my chihuahua Lola REFUSES to go outside when its raining (which is like... always in seattle). got this after trying puppy pads for months. it actually clumps?? didnt expect that from sand. smell is way better than pads. only thing is the bag is heavy af and i almost dropped it on my foot carrying it upstairs. pls make smaller bags waggle!!

We set up a potty area on our balcony using Waggle sand because taking our shiba inu down 4 flights of stairs every time was exhausting. Been using it for 2 months now. Rain or shine the sand does its job. One thing — when it's really windy some of the lighter granules blow around before they get "used" and settle. Heavier sand would help. Otherwise really happy, the balcony doesn't smell at all and our dog transitioned easily. Good investment for apartment dwellers.

I am NOT a morning person and the idea of walking my toy poodle at 6am before work was killing me slowly. Set up a Waggle station on my balcony and it's been a game... a really good change. He uses it overnight and first thing in the morning. I scoop when I wake up at a normal human hour. Sand lasts about 3 weeks per bag for one tiny dog. Been using it 6 months now, zero issues.

用咗一排，總結係好用嘅。吸味快，唔會漏水，狗狗（長毛臘腸）用得好順。不過香港夏天真係好熱好濕，如果唔係日日scoop同埋三四日換一次，會有少少味。冬天冇問題。沙粒唔算好大塵，比起之前用過嘅牌子好好多。整體CP值合理，會再買。

養咗隻比熊，之前用尿墊成日滲過底搞到地板有印。轉用Waggle之後，因為砂吸水好快又唔會漏，地板終於乾淨返。最緊要係冇味，朋友上嚟都話聞唔到狗味。狗狗一用就習慣咗，冇抗拒。價錢係貴過尿墊少少，但係值得。

I was deeply skeptical of the non-stick claim because every "non-stick" pet product I've ever bought was a lie. But this sand legitimately does not cement itself to the tray. I've been using the same plastic tray for 3 months and a quick rinse is all it needs on change day. No scrubbing, no scraping, no soaking. I don't know what sorcery Waggle put in this sand but it works. And my miniature pinscher agrees — she runs to her tray the second we come inside from walks. Five stars.

The performance is there — absorbs fast, clumps well, easy to scoop. My dog (a sensitive-skinned maltese) had no issues transitioning. The reason it's not 5 stars is there's a very subtle scent to the sand. It's not strong or offensive, but I prefer truly unscented products for my pets. That said, it dissipates quickly and doesn't seem to bother my dog at all. If they release a fragrance-free version this becomes an easy 5 stars.

So my dumb (affectionate) bichon decided to eat a mouthful of the sand on day one. freaked me out but she was totally fine — passed it no problem and never did it again. aside from that incident the sand works really well. clumps fast, no urine smell at all, and she uses the tray reliably now. the bag design is good too with the resealable zipper. minus one star for making it look apparently delicious to a 9lb dog with a single brain cell. but honestly would recommend.
