im a pretty cynical person when it comes to "smart" products. most of them are regular products with a bluetooth chip glued on and a 200% markup. this composter is different. you can tell actual engineers designed it.

the decomposition process is legitimately impressive. within hours, wet smelly waste becomes dry odorless material that looks like coffee grounds. no idea how they managed that but it works. the seals are airtight - i stuck my nose right up to the machine during a cycle out of morbid curiosity and smelled absolutely nothing.

setup was dead simple. no complicated calibration or wifi setup wizard nonsense. plug in, fill the starter material, press go. five stars, no notes.

ok so i finally caved and bought this after months of debating. it definately works as advertised — no smell, quick processing, clean output. setup was straightforward, i just followed the quick start guide. but man, the price is steep. like really steep. i get that the technology is advanced and all but i feel like it should be maybe 20-30% cheaper. that said, if you can afford it and you're tired of dealing with pet waste the old fashioned way, this is the solution. just be prepared for your wallet to cry a little.

部機用咗大約半年之後出現咗個小問題，個攪拌器有時會咔咔聲。打去客服，佢哋好快就教咗我點樣自己檢查，原來係有粒貓砂卡住咗。仲send咗條教學片俾我跟住清理，服務態度好好。而家部機又正常返，繼續每日處理我四隻貓嘅排泄物。扣一星係因為個入口可以設計得大多少少，有時大舊嘅廢物要分開放入去。其餘一切都好滿意。

以前貓屎就咁丟咗佢，覺得好浪費，但又冇辦法。直到朋友介紹呢部機，先知原來貓屎都可以變肥料。部機操作簡單到不得了，我阿媽六十幾歲都識用。每日將貓砂鏟出嚟嘅廢物倒入去，撳個掣，佢就自動做嘢。幾個鐘之後就有堆肥出嚟。我用嚟種蘭花，啲花開得又大又靚。最緊要係成個過程冇臭味，呢點真係好重要，因為我部機擺喺室內。非常滿意。

got this cuz my wife kept complaining about the trash bin smelling like dog shit. fair enough lol. it works better than i expected tbh. the thing heats up and breaks everything down in like 2-3 days. we've had it for 4 months now. only complaint is that it's kinda heavy to move around when u need to empty the compost tray. also wish the power cord was a bit longer, had to use an extension. but overall does what it says on the box. the odor control is no joke, u literally cant smell anything when the lid is closed.

After 4 months of daily use with two cats and one dog, here's my honest assessment.

What's great: Decomposition works flawlessly. No odor. Build quality is premium - thick plastic, tight seals, smooth hinges. Touch controls are responsive. Cleaning is easy.

What could be better: The bin-full sensor is inconsistent - sometimes says full when it's half empty. The companion app hasn't been updated in months based on the version history. The power cable is too short. And honestly the price is steep for what's essentially a heated grinding drum with a carbon filter.

None of these are dealbreakers and I'd buy it again. But for a premium product at a premium price, I expect premium polish on every aspect, not just the core functionality.

The machine itself is great, no complaints about build quality or performance. It processes my dog's waste quickly and there's truly no odor. The end product is great for my balcony plants.

However, the ongoing cost of carbon filters is something I wish I'd factored in before buying.
