for what you pay this is a really solid product. ive seen similar sisal mats selling for double at the fancy pet boutiques. the weaving is consistent, the sisal is thick, and the dimensions are as advertised. my cat took a few days to figure it out (she kept trying to sit on it instead of scratch it? cats are weird man) but now she uses it correctly. only knocking off a star because the edges could be finished more neatly — there are a few stray sisal fibers poking out on one corner. minor thing.

My two cats use it, furniture is safe, can't really ask for more. The natural sisal color blends in okay with my floors. I do wish it had some kind of rubber backing because it shifts around when my bigger cat really goes hard at it. I ended up putting a rug gripper underneath which solved the problem. Solid product overall.

got this for my two rescue cats who were previously scratching everything in sight. happy to report they now scratch this mat instead of my doorframes, which is a massive win. the material feels good quality, no weird factory smell. after daily use from TWO cats for about a month there is some visible wear in the middle but its holding up way better than i expected. only complaint is the packaging — it arrived rolled up so tight it took two days to lay flat even with heavy books on it. minor annoyance. product is solid.

The main surface area holds up beautifully — dense sisal that really takes a beating. My issue is with the edges. The binding around the perimeter started fraying within the first ten days and now there are sisal strands poking out from all four sides. It doesn't affect functionality and the cats don't care at all, but it looks a bit messy. I've trimmed the loose bits a couple times. If they reinforce the edge binding this would easily be a 5-star product.

Quality is solid, sisal is thick and well-made, my cat uses it every day. But i do wish they made a larger size — my cat is a norwegian forest cat mix and she's pretty long, the 45x45 is just barely enough for a full stretch. If they ever release a 60x60 i'd buy it instantly. Still, this is doing the job and my furniture is safe. No regrets on the purchase.

The scratching surface itself is excellent quality — thick sisal, tightly woven, no chemical smells. My cat absolutely loves it. However it does slide around on my polished concrete floors when she scratches vigorously. Had to put a non-slip mat underneath which solves it but would be nice if it came with rubber feet or something. Still very happy with the purchase overall.

Bought this a couple weeks ago after my cat demolished yet another cardboard scratcher. The sisal is definitely more durable — barely any signs of use so far. Cat adjusted to it quickly, no hesitation. Only minor issue is that it's a bit heavier than I expected, which makes it a little awkward to move when I'm cleaning. But i guess the weight is part of why it's durable so can't really complain.

喺香港養貓空間有限，呢塊抓板尺寸剛剛好。買咗返嚟直接放喺貓砂盆隔離，貓咪好快就識用。用咗一個月有多，劍麻仲係好完整，完全無散開或者甩線。最欣賞係佢無任何化學味，一開箱就係天然麻繩味，對貓同人都安全。同之前用開嘅cheap雞抓板完全兩個level。雖然價錢比其他貴少少，但一分錢一分貨，絕對值！

it's a scratching pad. it works. cat likes it. not sure what else to say. gave it 4 stars cause it does what it's supposed to do and seems like it'll last a while. wasn't life changing or anything but my couch is intact so that's a win. if you need a basic scratcher this is a solid choice.

I genuinely didnt expect much from a scratching mat but this exceeded every expectation. The sisal is so thick and dense, you can literally feel the quality when you pick it up. My cat Cleo was on it within 30 seconds of me putting it down, no catnip needed. Shes been using it religiously for six weeks and it still looks almost new. The best part is zero mess — no shredded cardboard everywhere like the old ones. My floors stay clean and my cat stays happy. What more could you want honestly.

45x45cm is the sweet spot — big enough that my cat can stretch out fully but compact enough that it doesn't dominate the room. The sisal is genuinely thick, at least a centimeter deep, and the weave is uniform across the entire surface. I've had cheaper sisal pads where you could see the backing through thin patches. Not this one. Three months of daily use by two cats and it still looks and functions like new. Quality product, no shortcuts taken.

Don't get me wrong, 45x45 is exactly what's advertised and I should've measured. But in my head I thought it'd be bigger. It's fine for my one cat but if you have a large breed or multiple cats you might want to buy two. Quality wise it's excellent — thick sisal, well bound edges, no weird chemical smell. My cat took to it immediately. I put catnip on it the first day and he's been using it religiously since. Just measure your space before ordering lol.

my cat is sitting on it right now as i type this lol. she scratches when she wakes up from naps its her little ritual. this mat has saved my couch arms which were starting to look like theyd been through a war. the sisal is the real deal — 100% natural and you can tell coz it has that earthy kinda look not plasticky at all. edges are finished properly so it looks neat enough to leave out in the living room, doesnt scream "pet product". very happy.

Was looking for something to stop my cat from using my office chair as a scratching post. This worked. Took her about two days to switch over but now she goes straight to the pad. The sisal seems high quality and it doesn't shed fibers everywhere like some others I've tried. Giving 4 stars because one corner arrived slightly bent from shipping. Flattened out after a day with some weight on it. Good product.

Got this two weeks ago and my two cats immediately took to it. The sisal material feels really substantial compared to the cheap cardboard ones I used to buy. It's thick enough that it doesn't slide around on my wood floor. Only thing is it sheds a fair bit of sisal fibers in the first few days — I was sweeping constantly. But after that initial period it's been fine. Would buy again.

I think for bigger cats 45x45 might be a touch small — my Maine Coon hangs off the edges. Would be nice if they made a larger version. Four stars because it works but nothing amazing.

ordered this with low expectations cause online cat products are hit or miss. pleasantly surprised. the sisal is thick and tightly wound — not that loose cheap stuff that unravels immediately. cat took to it within hours. it's been about a month and a half and the wear is minimal. my only tiny complaint is the color is kinda boring but my cat doesnt care about aesthetics so whatever. great value.

five stars for cat enjoyment, three stars for human cleanup. this thing works — both my cats abandoned the couch corner immediately. the sisal is genuinely thick and durable. but man, the fibers that come off this thing in the first week or two are no joke. my robot vacuum was working overtime. it settles down eventually but just be aware you'll be doing some extra sweeping. still worth it considering the alternative is shredded furniture.
