Three Continents, Four Shows, the Same Yellow Wall

You can learn a lot about a cat litter from a lab report. You learn something different when you put a pallet of it on a convention floor and let a few thousand strangers ask you whatever they want.

Over the past two years we have done that on three continents. Here is what it looked like.

SuperZoo 2026

This is a buyer's show rather than a consumer one, which changes the questions. Cat owners ask whether litter tracks. Buyers ask about pallet counts, moisture in transit, and what happens to the tub after the litter is gone.

The dog stole the show

We make cat litter. We also make dog litter — Waggle is our dog line. The most popular thing at the booth turned out to be neither: it was a husky in a Waggle bandana.

Cat Lovers Festival

Sydney & Melbourne · 2025

Australia's largest cat festival, run across two cities. A consumer show through and through — people arrive with the cat, and the cat has opinions. We wrote about that one separately.

Hong Kong Cat Expo

Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre · August 2025

Hong Kong is our home market. The show runs at the convention centre in Wan Chai and is the city's only large-scale cat expo.

Asia Cat Expo

Suntec Singapore · June 2025

Two days, three halls. We went in ready to talk about clumping speed; what came up most was humidity — what a litter box does in that air, and whether the clump holds. Fair question, and one we have since written up properly in keeping a litter box under control in a humid climate.

Why we keep showing up

There is only so much you can explain through a screen. Whether a litter works comes down to picking it up, watching how fast it sets when it meets water, and putting your nose near it. None of that happens in front of a monitor.

A trade show is one of the few places we can put the product straight into someone's hands. Three days in, we know which questions keep coming back, which selling points need no explanation at all, and which things only land once someone has watched them demonstrated.

All of it goes back into the product and into the site.
