Let's be honest — cleaning up after your dog is nobody's favorite part of pet parenting. The bags, the smell, the bending down day after day. So we asked a simple question: what if it could just happen on its own?
That question became Canis Major — an AI-powered robot that handles dog waste cleanup automatically, touch-free, and more sustainably.
What is Canis Major?
Canis Major uses vision-based AI detection and a robotic arm-and-suction system to take dog waste cleanup off your hands entirely. It spots the mess, treats it with natural attapulgite dog litter, then collects, dries, and stores it — all by itself. The result is less odor, fewer plastic poop bags, and a lot less daily work.

How it works
- AI locate — vision-based AI detects pet waste on grass or turf.
- Apply dog litter — it applies natural attapulgite dog litter to absorb moisture and reduce odor.
- Suction collect — the covered waste is suctioned into an internal processing chamber.
- Dry & store — the material is dried and kept in a sealed compartment.
- Potential fertilizer reuse — supporting a fertilizer and garden reuse concept, after validation.
Why it matters
By automating the whole routine, Canis Major cuts down on direct contact, flies, daily plastic poop bags, and repetitive cleanup — a real help for homes, dog daycares, apartment pet areas, kennels, and outdoor spaces. There is even a treat reward module that can help train pets to use the designated area.
Part of a smarter, cleaner ecosystem
The natural attapulgite dog litter Canis Major uses is the same earth-conscious mineral behind Waggle — and the "dry, store, reuse" workflow reflects the circular-economy thinking at the heart of CATPAK. Smart tech, hygiene, and sustainability, working together to create a new kind of automated dog waste management.
Canis Major is making its debut at SuperZoo 2026, where our live demo will walk through the full process: AI locate → apply dog litter → suction collect → dry & store → potential fertilizer reuse.
